Zoltan Gera claims Sunderland game is massive
Sunderland visit Craven Cottage this Saturday and Fulham ace Zoltan Gera has described the game as 'massive'.
The Cottagers are struggling in the Premier League after the 2-1 defeat at Arsenal on Saturday left them without a win in their last six outings.
And, as they are just one place outside of the relegation places on goal difference from Wigan, Gera is targeting the game against the Black Cats this coming weekend to get a third win of the campaign and ease their worries.
The former West Brom star felt Fulham were unfortunate to lose against the Gunners at the Emirates Stadium and hopes they can build on their promising display.
"We have to build on this performance and, if we keep playing like we did today, we will start to pick up more points," said Gera after the game.
"We were unlucky but Samir Nasri scored two fantastic goals. We created chances and were aggressive.
"The Sunderland game is massive for us, especially as we are at home. We need the three points.
"Hopefully we will play well like we did against Arsenal."Subscribe to Football FanCast News Headlines by Email
