Everton fans have differing views on potential new role for Baines

Everton boss Marco Silva recently told the Liverpool Echo that he is considering playing Leighton Baines in midfield.
Baines has lost his left-back position to summer arrival Lucas Digne, and it does not appear that the Englishman will be displacing the former Barcelona defender any time soon.
Silva claimed that it was ‘possible’ that 5ft 7in ace Baines could move into a midfield role.
The 34-year-old has not actually played a Premier League game for the Toffees since the beginning of September, and his contract with Everton will expire at the end of the season.
The Everton fans have been discussing whether Baines could do a job in midfield, and it would be fair to say that they have differing opinions on the situation.
Indeed, whilst some believe that the former England international could operate in that area of the field, others have called it a non-starter.
